Now that the cooler weather is rolling in- I love to pull out my jeans that have been tucked away for the summer and try them on for size (hopefully they still fit after all the summer cocktails and bbq's). Monday + A Giveaway!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!! A little over a month and a half ago my husband Kevin and I launched Roasted Grounds Coffee Company with an amazing response so far. We also started a blog called The Daily Roast, which is an information source that you can go to where we provide fresh ideas and concepts that relate to our business, along with other fun findings, such as art and music. Think "coffee house" online.

New Jersey Wedding

You may remember this post, when I posted photos of my friend's Lauren and Bob's wedding-Well Lauren's sister and my friend's Katie and Tyler got married last weekend. Here are some photos of their beautiful day...

The wedding was held in my "old stomping grounds" New Brunswick, NJ- home of Rutgers University-and the infamous "Grease Trucks"...

Material Girl...

Living in a material world (sorry I had to)! SO, I am am sure I have mentioned on here enough times now that we are building a new house and moving in November... Well my mother has been kind enough to give me her antique dining room table and chairs, and her kitchen set for us to use in our new house (thanks mom!). One big project I have been putting off is that BOTH need the cushions re-upholstered, which I am planning on doing my self (yikes!)

I am going to start with the kitchen table first- it is a round glass top table with silverish-gunmetal chairs that I am planning on  spray painting cream. Here are some fabrics I had in mind...

PS. Our kitchen cabinets are cream, our island is cherry wood, counter tops will eventually be white granite, or light colored quartz/silestone,  and the floor is dark cherry wood (stainless steel appliances).

My Love

Two years ago today I married the love of my life.  It has been a fabulous ride so far, and we are looking forward to becoming an Aunt and Uncle for the first time in about a month, and moving into our first house in 2 months. I couldn't imagine anyone else I would want to share my life with...
