"For the past 33 years, I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: 'If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?' And whenever the answer has been 'No' for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something. "

That's fantastic! I can completely relate to that mindset and getting frustrated when my days are spent wasting away with nothing special. When I lost my job last week, it was helpful to keep this thought process in mind, because, when I'm honest with myself, that job wasn't the most rewarding. There's always something that you should be doing and you should be able to tell.
ReplyDeleteGreat quote from Mr. Jobs! Everyone should live like that. :)
ReplyDeleteSo many great quotes from Steve Jobs and I love this one. I think whenever we lose such profound people in this world we always learn something new and try and we try to learn to be better in our lives in some way. I know this is true for me!
ReplyDeleteSigh. Such a sad loss, but Steve Jobs was so brilliant and innovative that his spirit and his words will live on and inspire forever :) PS that gold mirror is fabulous!
ReplyDeleteWhoa. Good point!
ReplyDeleteWhat a brilliant quote, RIP Jobs!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great quote you have shared in here. Like that big mirror in the photo. Wish I can put a mirror like that on my condo.
