It's not just any Friday, it's Good Friday. Lilac and Grey is a religion and political neutral blog- however I do believe that the Easter holiday has a message for everyone. It is a time to celebrate a new season, family, re-birth and growth. But the overpowering theme is sacrifice. Whether it being that you donate the *free* turkey or ham that you get at the supermarket for spending a certain amount of money to a deserving family that can not afford a hot meal, or putting yourself second, to make the day of someone that needs your help and support. To sacrifice something that means a lot to you, but would mean the world to someone else is the ultimate gift.
