Autumn Weekend

Falling for Burgundy

I looked out my window this morning and noticed the leaves started changing color (already!) and realized fall is here! It is time to put away all of my flip flops and sun dresses and start embracing the new season. Right now I can not get enough burgundy in my life! It is on my nails, lips, and I have been searching for pieces to add to my fall wardrobe. I LOVE  these gorgeous Calvin Klein Collection suede burgundy flats (on sale!) and Alexander Wang bag!

Baby Girl's Nursery Inspiration

With 2 months left in my pregnancy, we are really starting to get ready for our baby girl's arrival (ekkk, can't wait!). When we found out it was a girl, the last thing I wanted was our house to look like it got whipped up on a pink cotton candy stick! However, when I saw this glamorous little nursery, I couldn't help but swoon a little (especially over that fantabulous wallpaper!)...

Paul and Staci's NYC Wedding: Cipriani 42nd Street

{I have been searching for the right words to describe my brother Paul and Staci's wedding this past weekend... some words that came to mind are amazing, incredible, and breath taking... It was a wedding fit for a King and Queen! Of course the weekend went too fast, and I still can't believe my little brother is married! Here are some the fabulous photos from their oh so G-L-A-M-O-R-O-U-S wedding!

The ceremony and reception was held at Cipriani 42nd Street, one of the most spectacular wedding venues in Manhattan. We dined on delicious food and danced the night away to the amazing live band. I even made it to the after party (7 1/2 months pregnant!) danced some more, and couldn't help but snack on some mini ham and cheese melts and french fries! 

Dear Paul and Staci, 

Thinking back to the first time I met you Staci, as I sat across the table from you both at that little tapas restaurant- when I saw both of your eye's twinkle when you looked at each other, I knew you were the one for Paul. We all had a wonderful time celebrating your love story and the beginning of your marriage! Looking forward to all of the new and exciting memories to come! We love you!

Wedding Weekend!

Today marks the beginning of my brother and new sister-in-law's wedding weekend!  I can't wait to celebrate with all of our family and friends!

I can't believe it has been four years since I married my best friend and the love of my life! In just a couple of months we will be parents for the first time, and I could not have asked for a better partner to begin this new journey with! What can I say, I am a very lucky girl!

Fall Beauty Report: Burgundy Lips

During the summer months I wear minimal make-up and my lips only experience clear lip balm. However once the cooler weather approaches I suddenly get an urge to wear some color on my lips. This year I am loving all things burgundy!

Last week I posted these Jimmy Choo metallic heels in a set. Obviously Jimmy Choo's come with a hefty price tag, so I wanted to see if there were any shoes similar that are somewhat affordable. I found these from J.Crew, and what I LOVE about them is their little kitten heel, which makes them totally wearable for everyday! These babies may be replacing my little cheetah heels from last season...

Diaper Bags

With 80 days left in my pregnancy, the new "it" bag I have been searching for this fall is a diaper bag! I was looking for one that is light, has a lot of pockets, comes with a stroller strap, and can be cleaned easily in case of any accidents. I also refuse to spend a ton of money on a diaper bag. These are the ones that made the final cut!

Pregnancy Update

How far along: 27 weeks

Gender: Girl 

Total weight gain: 19 pounds 

Maternity clothes: Just the belly band that I wear over my jean shorts

Stretch marks: Not yet!! Crossing my fingers I don't!

Sleep: Yup! Still sleeping peacefully through the night!

Miss Anything: Sushi :(

Cravings: I have cravings for German food, pizza with mushrooms, and dried fruits

Symptoms: I have had a muscle spasm in my back for a couple of weeks now, other then that I am feeling great!

Belly Button in or out: In

Mood: I have been pretty steady in my opinion (my husband's answer may differ) no major mood swings!

Best Moment this week: Buying baby girl's antique dresser for her nursery! It is being hand painted this week, can't wait to see how it turns out!

Looking forward to: picking out  paint and accessories for the nursery
