One thing we did not do (that I am kind of regretting) is a newborn photo session. I had researched a bunch of photographers that specialize in photographing newborns, and I found one that I LOVED, but we would have to drive to her studio (1 1/2 hours from our house) within the first two weeks the baby was born. I ended up having a c-section, so in the weeks after Chloe was born, I just wasn't up to it...plus the FLU epidemic was going around and we were a little paranoid taking the girl out in public.
Now that we are settled into life as a new family, I really want to have professional photos taken. I don't want just any "family photo." It needs to be super artistic, something that we can put on our wall that looks more like artwork then a forced posed shot. I am IN LOVE with Max Wanger's work (along with the rest of the world) but I am afraid I may not be able to get an appointment with him until Chloe is ready for college (I am going to try though)! So, if my Max Wanger dreams are shattered, I need more suggestions from you guys...Know any amazing artistic photographers that work in the tri-state area (Specifically NJ, NY, PA)?? Please leave their name and websites in the comment section!
