Hi everyone! This is Kara from Sprinkles in Springs guest blogging for the other Cara you know and love.
It's halfway through NY Fashion Week and here are a few of my favorite looks that have come down the runway so far:
After an outstanding Spring 2011 show a few months ago, Jill Stuart amazed again— this time with deeper hues and color blocking (and really cute graphic print dresses with owls and foxes that you have to see to believe). One of my favorite looks that I chose to illustrate was this orange dress (the color for 2011) with a faux peter pan-like collar.
This look from Daryl K might be the most appealing to me because it's something I could definitely see myself wearing. An oversize white shirtdress with leather leggings, black boots and another one of fall's big trends— a furry vest.
Here's to a great second half of NY Fashion Week... I'll be watching! And a special thank you to Cara for letting me do this guest post. For more fashion week coverage and illustrations, head over to Sprinkles in Springs after checking out Lilac and Grey. (PS- I'm also hosting a giveaway for a signed copy of The Kind Diet by Alicia Silverstone!)
